Alcester Court Leet Pancake Races March 8th 2011

Alcester Pancake Races were held on March 8th 2011 and started at 12:20 with a special race that included Ben and Louisa from Touch FM radio. They ran all the way up the High Street from the Post Office to the Church tossing their pancakes. This required special skill as the pancakes tended to blow away. Ben and Louisa then reported on the races live on air. There were prizes of Easter eggs for the winners with lollipops for the runners up even if they dropped their pancakes or pan. Some races had prizes of cash with the winning pub getting the trophy tankard.
